INDICATION, DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Swine: Bronchopneumonia (coughing,respiratory rales, sneezing, prostration) Swine enzootic pneumonia (coughing especially in the morning, retarded growth) Swine dysentery (diarrhea, large amount of mucus and flecks of blood in the faeces, prostration) Wound infection | Pasteurella sp. Mycoplasma hyodysenteriae Treponema hyodysenteriae Staphylococcus sp. | Intramuscular injection (through flesh/muscle) on the thigh, the ear areas on the neck or hips Piglet: 1-2 ml per 10 kg of body weight Adult pig: 5-10 ml per 50 kg of body weight |
Poultry: CRD (snoring) | Mycoplasma gallisepticum | Subcutaneous (under the skin) or intramuscular (through flesh/ muscle) injection Young chick (age 1-4 weeks): 0.25-0.5 ml per bird Grower & finisher chicken (age > 4 weeks): 0.5-1 ml per bird |
Cow: Beef cattle and non- lactating dairy cattle: • Pneumonia, bronchitis, tracheitis, laryngitis • Mycoplasma mastitis • Leptospirosis • Wound infection Calf: • Calf diphteria | Mycoplasma dispar, M. bovis, PPLO. Mycoplasma sp Leptospira sp. Streptococcus sp. Fusobacterium necrophorum | Intramuscular injection (through flesh/muscle): 0.5-1 ml per 10 kg of body weight |
CAUTION
• Injection may be repeated after every 12-24 hours for 2-3 consecutive days
• Do not inject Tysinol more than 5 ml on the same body part
• Stop giving Tysinol 3 days before livestock is slaughtered for human consumption
• Store in a tightly closed container, in a dry and cool place, protected from direct sunlight
