The 9th National Gathering (SILATNAS) of Indonesian Sheep and Goat Breeders was held at Jalak Harupat Sports Facility, Bandung Regency on September 16-17, 2023. The event was organized by the Indonesian Sheep Goat Breeders Association (HPDKI) as a gathering place for sheep and goat breeders from all over Indonesia to work together and collaborate. Not only attended by breeders, this event was also attended by government agencies, associations, academics, financial institutions, and communities both from within and outside the country.
SILATNAS took place in hybrid which means held in a on-site and was also broadcast live on InspiraTV's Youtube channel. The event was opened by the Chairman of DPP HPDKI, Ir. Yudi Guntara Noor, S.Pt., IPU, the Regent of Bandung Regency, and the Director General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health. In addition to the national gathering, the event was also enlivened with a competition titled the President's Cup. There were 1,500 sheep from around 165 breeders who participated in the Garut sheep livestock and agility contest. In addition, there was also a livestock industry exhibition, breeder workshopHPDKI's national working meeting, to seminars and talkshow.
