Medion through one of its educational programs, namely Studium Generale & Sharing Session, sharing knowledge an online educational programs account to 91 students and alumni of agriculture majors from universities throughout Indonesia. The activity was held on February 28, 2023 with the topic "Pesticides: Friend or Foe?" and sharing session “Career Opportunity in Agriculture Sector". This program is a form of Medion's contribution to the world of education.
Muhamad Faturahman, S.P. as Agriculture Technical Education & Consultation Staff Medion explained the practice of using pesticides effectively. In short, the proper use of pesticides will have a positive impact on crop yields and help farmers protect crops from attacks by pests (pests, diseases, and weeds). However, if used excessively, pesticides can have a negative impact on human health, environmental sustainability, resistance, and the reduction of other organisms that do not damage plants. The event was then continued by Arief Septiawan, S.P as Agriculture Technical Sales Representative Staff Medion who also added insight into the world of agricultural work. Arief explained that by going directly to the field to meet farmers and provide direction and education, it can help farmers solve the agricultural problems they are facing.
