Medion Herbal Product Innovation, Presented at Overseas Conference

Not only producing quality products, Medion is also committed to providing education. This time, Medion participated in an international conference held on September 30 - October 1, 2021 online. The conference was titled 3rd Edition Of Euro Global Conference on Food Science and Technology, with theme Foreground for Advanced Researches in Food Science and Technology.

The purpose of the conference is to provide a platform to transfer knowledge from research to industry and transform food security for a safe and healthy future. Present as a speaker, Elvina Jahja, as Director Animal Health PT Medion Farma Jaya, presented material to participants who were academics, professionals, entrepreneurs, industrialists, and engineers from twenty countries.

On that occasion, Elvina presented the results of the latest Medion herbal product research which has the potential to optimize broiler FCR, as well as produce good carcass quality. The material was entitled, Performance and Carcass quality of Broiler supplemented with Curcuma longa and Morinda citrifolia Extracts.

This is necessary considering the current world challenges with an increasing population, causing an increase in the need for animal protein. In addition, the current issue is related to the withdrawal of AGPs in various parts of the world, which can cause a decrease in livestock performance, so an alternative product is needed that can be used as a substitute for AGPs. It is hoped that the herbs studied can be used for production that sustainable.
