According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the standard for meeting the need for blood bags in each country is ideally 2% of its population. With Indonesia's total population of 278.69 million, 5.57 million blood bags are needed every year.

As a form of the Care for Others program and to support blood stocks in Indonesia, every 3 months Medion regularly holds a blood donation event with PMI Bandung Regency. The activity held on September 4 & 25, 2023 was attended by 208 workers and managed to collect 144 flasks of blood bags. This amount is expected to contribute to meeting PMI's blood needs. In addition, regular blood donation can help stimulate the production of new blood cells so that the body becomes healthier.
Yosika Pramangara from the Human Resource & General Affair said that this was his first experience as a donor. “It feels good to be part of a humanitarian task. At first I was afraid because I heard some stories from friends who experienced problems during the blood collection process. But thanks to the PMI officers who are very professional, I didn't feel worried. The benefits were immediately felt, I slept very well. Good job, Medion! Hopefully there will be more social activities involving workers.”

Medion hopes that this social activity can benefit all Indonesian people and inspire them to involve themselves in social activities.
