Medion, a company engaged in the field of poultry health, routinely holds educational programs that aim to increase knowledge and improve student skills. One of them is through Medion Experiential Learning Program (ELP), yaitu proses pembelajaran melalui teori dan praktik yang dilakukan langsung oleh tenaga ahli Medion. Bertempat di Fakultas Peternakan & Pertanian (FPP) Undip, kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada 20 Mei 2023 ini diikuti oleh lebih dari 200 mahasiswa.
The event was opened with remarks from Dr. Ir. Limbang Kustiawan Nuswantara, S.Pt., M.P., IPU as Deputy Dean of FPP Undip. Followed by material presentation by Technical Sales Representative Students were also taught by Dr. Medion about viral diseases in poultry, starting from the clinical symptoms that occur, losses for farmers, as well as prevention and treatment by giving appropriate vaccines. Students are also invited to practice necropsy (animal carcass surgery activities) to get to know more about poultry anatomy & physiology, which is also guided by Medion. Through this educational program, students can further improve their learning skills.
