Medion and Cimahi Police Hold Mass Vaccination

Acceleration and equal distribution of COVID-19 booster vaccinations are one of the government's focuses in handling COVID-19. Booster vaccination is a free program for the Indonesian people that can help increase protection from two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at the beginning and provide longer protection against the corona virus. To support this, on April 7, 2022, Medion in collaboration with the Cimahi Police held a COVID-19 booster vaccination for employees and the surrounding community at the Medion Cimareme factory, Padalarang. The vaccines used on that occasion were Astra Zeneca and Moderna.

Also present at the event was the Deputy Chief of West Java Police Brigadier General Bariza Sulfi, S.I.K. who was on a working visit. In addition, the Cimahi Police Chief AKBP Imron Ermawan, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., also accompanied the Deputy Chief of Police. They monitored the implementation of the booster vaccination and continued by following video conference with Deputy Chief of Police Commissioner General of Police Dr. Drs. Gatot Edy Pramono, M.Si., regarding the Evaluation of the Implementation of Simultaneous Vaccination carried out by the Police throughout Indonesia and attended by the Regional Police Chiefs / Deputy Regional Police Chiefs.

 Thanks to the cooperation of all parties, the implementation of booster vaccination at Medion went well and smoothly. A total of 575 employees and the surrounding community managed to get the booster vaccine. This is a real step to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. For that, the Cimahi Police Chief expressed his gratitude to the company leaders and Medion employees for their good cooperation.
