Medion Adds Value to Breeders through 218th Training Course

On November 21-22, 2023 Medion held its 218th training. This activity was attended by 51 participants from various regions in Indonesia, such as Lombok, Payakumbuh, Tasikmalaya, Cirebon, Purwokerto, Sidrap, Kupang, Magelang, Sukabumi, Klaten, and others. It was held at Medion Cimareme factory, Padalarang, Bandung. Training is a routine educational program that Medion provides to its customers. Not only does it provide knowledge but there is also hands-on training or practice on how to identify diseases in chickens.

On the first day, participants were invited to learn more about Medion through the presentation of the company profile. Then, the material presentation was delivered by a team of Medion experts (Technical Education & Consultant) and was divided into two sessions. The first session was about management layer in the production phase and the second session recognized clinical signs in sick chickens. Followed by a plant tour to Medion's Pharmaceutical Product (PP) and Plastic & Printing (P&P) production areas. Participants seemed enthusiastic because they could see firsthand the production process of Medion products that have guaranteed quality from start to finish.

On the second day, participants started the activity with material about feeding management and viral diseases that cause production disruption. Not only technical material but participants were also motivated through non-technical material about moving forward. After that, in the afternoon the participants were given the opportunity to practice live chicken necropsy or chicken surgery. On the last day, participants were invited to enjoy the beauty of Bandung and were spoiled with shopping tours.

Participants provided feedback good and positive. One of the participants, Jefri Salsabila from Bintang Ternak Farm, Banyumas, said that the training was a great activity. insightful because they gained a lot of new knowledge that can be applied in their livestock business. In addition, there are a plant tour and chicken surgery practices that further added to the participants' insights. He hopes that Medion will hold more educational programs throughout Indonesia.Not only providing products, Medion also provides services through education. up to date to improve insights and skills in animal husbandry, the ins and outs of disease, proper treatment methods and good husbandry management.
