40 Years of Info Medion Bulletin

Medion, a company specializing in animal health, has contributed to providing the latest information on livestock and pets. One such effort is manifested in the Info Medion the brainchild of Dr. (H.C.), apt., Drs. Jonas Jahja, affectionately known as Mr. Jonas. In the 1970s, Mr. Jonas recognized the lack of accessible information and communication media for the livestock industry. Armed with his knowledge and business experience, the first edition of Info Medion was published in May 1984. It came in a simple tri-fold format on F4-sized paper and was distributed for free. His efforts aimed to advance farmers by consistently providing up-to-date information and education about the livestock industry. The hallmark of Info Medion has always been its use of easily understandable language for both farmers and the general public, presenting information backed by trusted literature, field experiences of its writers, and data compiled by Medion.

Over time, Info Medion has undergone various improvements to meet the growing demand for information. Info Medion add rubric technical consultation , featuring questions from farmers as a platform for interaction between Medion and its readers. Efforts to enhance the bulletin's appeal also included the introduction of iconic characters—Ixo, Neo, Flo, and Oxo—to make information delivery more engaging.

Medion has consistently embraced the digital era by developing various programs to address the challenges of Industry 4.0. One significant step was the launch of the online version of Info Medion in 2009, aimed at expanding access and making information more accessible. Over the years, the Info Medion website has been continually refined, with updates to its design and the addition of features to enhance the reader's experience. In line with the company’s expanding business scope, Info Medion now provides a broader range of content, including articles about pets like cats and dogs. For over 40 years, Info Medion has served as a reliable source of up-to-date information on livestock and pet care.

Medion is committed to continuously delivering timely information and innovative ideas tailored to the needs of its audience. It aspires to remain a trusted reference for farmers, academics, and the general public. The company extends its gratitude to loyal readers, whose support has enabled Info Medion to undergo digital transformation and evolve into a publication offering the latest insights into the world of livestock and pet care.
