Thirty years is a long time and journey for a brand to always be able to meet the needs and satisfaction of its consumers. Quality, high quality and sustainable factors are the main keys for a brand to win the competition from time to time. Medivac is real evidence of a brand that can achieve this milestone. Its products can continue to answer the needs and challenges in the field.
Starting in 1993, Medivac was introduced as a livestock protection solution from Newcastle Disease (ND) which was rampant at that time. Medivac products were accepted by farmers because they were proven to be effective and safe. The best quality standards such as USDA, European & British Pharmacopoeia, ASEAN Standard, and Indonesia Animal Health Pharmacopoeia are applied in the production process, making Medivac products superior in quality. Now Medivac is increasingly widely known by farmers in Asia and Africa.
In its development, in 2003 Medion established a Biosecurity Level 3 (BSL-3) facility to conduct production, research, and development of quality products by prioritizing worker and environmental safety. As a form of commitment, Medion continues to invest in the science and technology sector in product development and best manufacturing practices. This commitment has made Medivac gain recognition from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 2004. Medion also actively conducts surveillance to follow the development of diseases in various regions so that the needs of farmers for the right and quality vaccines can be met more quickly.
In line with one of the company's values, namely Open Minded Attitude, Medion also conducts collaborative research with institutions from various countries to produce innovative and quality product breakthroughs. Medivac has a variety of complete and quality product variants for protection from various types of diseases. Some of them are Newcastle Disease (ND), Avian Influenza (AI), Avian Encephalomyelitis (AE), Infectious Bronchitis (IB), Gumboro, Coryza, fowl pox, and many more. In addition, Medivac products also have complete packaging variants so that they can reach various scales of farms, both large and small.
Thirty years since it was first introduced, Medivac products are now used in all provinces in Indonesia and 15 countries in Asia and Africa. Medivac's relentless efforts to develop and innovate in producing high-quality products have won various awards. One of them is "Manca Nagara Satwa Nugraha" as the best exporter in the biological animal medicine category at the Indo Livestock event in 2018. Medion also actively participates in various international seminars related to disease development, one of which is the California 70th Virtual Western Poultry Disease Conference and ACPV Sponsored Workshop in 2021.
Medion continues to be committed to producing quality and innovative vaccines that can meet the needs of all farmers. Through a wide distribution network, Medion will actively continue to expand its distribution coverage to more countries and continue to achieve new milestones in the future.
