CDOIB certification is an implementation of the Regulation of the Director General of Cultural Fisheries No. 186 of 2023 to provide guidelines for distributors/importers of fish drugs in the development of internal rules as needed in distributing fish medicines. The purpose of the guideline is to ensure that the quality, safety and efficacy of fish drugs are maintained from the manufacturer to arrive in the hands of consumers.
On 1st November 2023, a field inspection was carried out at the Medion factory, Cimareme, Padalarang, Bandung. The inspection was carried out by a team of auditors, including Nunik Nurwijayanti, S.Si., M.Si and M. Rizki Sulistiono S.Pi., M.M from the Central Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF), representatives from the West Java Provincial Marine and Fisheries Service and accompanied by the Medion team.
Then, on 7th November 2023, Medion succeeded in obtaining a certificate of Good Fish Medicine Distribution Methods (CDOIB) with the predicate P1 (Best) because it has met assessment indicators including administration (completeness of document requirements), infrastructure facilities in accordance with CDOIB principles, understanding good fish medicine distribution SOPs, and having professional staff.
The CDOIB certificate is a manifestation of Medion’s commitment to continue to provide the best service in marketing and distributing quality and standardized animal health products.
