Having quality assurance on products and services is important for a company. Quality assurance is used as a measure of credibility and a reference to continuously improve the quality management system. One of them is through certification. ISO 9001, which is an international standard published International Organization for Standardisation (ISO). Apart from that, there are ISO 14001 which is used as a guide in managing the impact of company activities on the environment.
As a form of Medion's commitment to always focus on quality and the environment, Medion has succeeded in maintaining the ISO 9001 and 14001 certification obtained since 2017 from the TUV Rheinland Indonesia certification institution on the 2nd Surveillance Audit. This event will be held on May 23-25, 2022. hybrid (offline and an online educational programs account), starting with the submission of an audit plan by TUV Rheinland and continuing with an audit of the company's activities in Design & Manufacturing Product and Marketing & Distribution. Then it ends with the delivery of results and conclusions which state:
- Medion has used ISO 9004 as a guide and tool to assess the consistency of the implementation of the quality management system including the determination of organizational strategies and systematic implementation as an effort to always develop with all existing changes in achieving sustainable business goals.
- Medion is committed to the integration of the implementation of quality and environmental management systems as an effort to achieve its vision and mission.
This success was made possible thanks to the contribution and cooperation of all Medion work units in supporting the 2nd Surveillance Audit ISO 9001 & 14001. By implementing MedionCare values, namely Dedicated Teamwork and Enthusiastic will be the foundation for implementing Medion's increasingly improved quality and environmental management system.
