Medion provides TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to its employees as part of the implementation of Medion Care's value of Continuous Learning". TPM is a method for improving productivity in the workplace to achieve a more efficient process. In this training, which has been conducted since September 2022, participants are encouraged to create continuous by analyzing and eliminating the causes waste/losses optimally through the pillars of TPM. The results continuous that have been achieved are then presented at the TPM event Convention on April 12, 2023.
TPM Convention is an award event for participants who have successfully completed the program. The presented results were directly assessed by Dudung Duhara as external trainer and consultant Dudung Duhara. and the chief judge, along with the board members. Medion's top management Medion's jury panel included Yirhan Sim, Melina Jonas, Toto Winata, Elvina Jahja, Arief, and Darmawan Subekti. There were three winner categories, namely Diamond, Platinum, and Gold each awarded to two groups based on their scores.
In his speech, Toto Winata "explained that TPM has been implemented at Medion since the company was first established. 'TPM has been practiced since Jonas Jahja founded Medion, and it was then passed down to the employees. In the past, not everything was measurable, but now we can see how efficiency has improved and how much cost savings can be achieved to increase profit. We must not stop here, continuous it must continue to be implemented so that there is always room for improvement" he explained.
The participants successfully demonstrated how continuous their efforts had a positive impact on the company. (impact to business, process, people). TPM Convention this created a total value creation that significantly impacted profits through cost savings and process efficiency. TPM Convention has become one of Medion's strategic initiatives to continuously innovate in response to evolving challenges.
