Medion Invites Customers on Tours to Yogyakarta and Labuan Bajo

Through its Medion Wisata program, Medion regularly invites its loyal customers to enjoy tours in some of Indonesia’s most beautiful cities. This program fosters closer connections between Medion and its customers, with this year's destinations being Yogyakarta and Labuan Bajo. Yogyakarta was chosen for its rich cultural diversity and stunning attractions. The Medion Wisata Yogyakarta (MWY) event, themed "Fun, Classic, Exceptional," was held from May 12 to 16, 2024.

On the first day, participants were welcomed with a dinner and traditional Javanese dance performances. The opening ceremony was officiated by Medion’s top management, including Peter Yan, Melina Jonas, Hendra Purnama, and Benny Sukianto. A total of 128 participants, comprising Medion’s central management team and customers from various regions, joined the event.Peter Yan, Medion’s Commissioner, shared his hopes: "We aim to continue contributing to the national poultry and livestock sectors. Through this event, we hope to strengthen bonds with our loyal customers and gather valuable feedback for future company development."

The next day, participants visited Omah Kecebong, a cultural house featuring a restaurant and horticulture gardens. They were greeted with a Bregada cultural performance, a traditional warrior art from the Mataram Sultanate, and wore Yogyakarta’s traditional attire. The tour continued to Tempo Gelato and Obelix Sea View, offering scenic beach and ocean views.

The next day, participants visited Omah Kecebong, a cultural house featuring a restaurant and horticulture gardens. On the third day, participants embarked on the Merapi Lava Tour, exploring the slopes of Mount Merapi in jeeps. The day ended with a visit to the iconic Borobudur Temple, showcasing its magnificent architecture. On the fourth day, they explored Prambanan Temple and concluded the MWY 2024 program with a farewell event at Ndalem Ngabean Resto.

Exploring the Treasures of Labuan Bajo

From May 26 to 29, 2024, Medion took its customers on a trip to Labuan Bajo. The Medion Wisata Labuan Bajo (MWLB) event, themed “The Infinite Treasure of Labuan Bajo”, was opened during a gala dinner by Peter Yan, Irena Jonas, Hendra Purnama, and Benny Sukianto. A total of 167 participants, including Medion’s management and loyal customers, joined the tour.Labuan Bajo, known for its breathtaking islands and marine beauty, was chosen to provide customers with a memorable travel experience while showcasing the wonders of Indonesia’s natural heritage.

Participants visited Padar Island, Rinca Island, and Komodo Island, located in the Komodo National Park, aboard a luxurious phinisi boat. These islands are recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of Nature. The tour continued to Pink Beach, renowned for its unique pink sand.

The following day, they explored Batu Cermin Cave, known for its unique stalactites and stalagmites, and visited Puncak Waringin, offering panoramic views of Labuan Bajo. The tour ended with a sunset dinner at Handayani Seafood Restaurant.
